Raw Material
Rough lumber is sourced from local sawmills who have access to some of the best Radiata Pine timber in the world. Rough lumber is inspected and checked at the mill for moisture content and size. Only the best rough lumber is used in our process.
Treating Process
If a customer chooses to have their wood treated, a Boron solution is applied to finished products which protects the wood from insects and decay. These products are protected with a 30-year warranty. After the Boron solution is applied, the lumber is dried in an oven and then sanded to ensure a smooth finish. Products are then primed with two coats of acrylic primer.
Priming Process
Developed and improved upon over the past 15 years, our priming process delivers an industry leading finish. Two coats of acrylic primer are machine applied with sanding after the first coat and polishing after the second coat. Our primer resists tannin and resin bleed and provides excellent adhesion for all top coats.
Quality Assurance
From receiving in rough lumber from our partner sawmills to the final loading of a container, quality is checked at every stage of the process. All CM Maderera employees have a role to play and take ownership in quality control. Our goal is to produce the highest quality products, consistently for our customers.
Shipping
At CM Maderera we have staff dedicated to managing the complexities of moving your order from the Mill in Chile to your warehouse in the US. We have partnered with D.J. Powers to expedite all the paperwork necessary for clearance into the country. Our team is doing its best to make sure you get your order delivered on time.
